Judges/Officials Training
Volunteer to be a Judge!
Judges play a critical role in making Odyssey of the Mind Tournaments fun and successful. Judging panels observe and evaluate the solutions that teams present for long term or spontaneous problems.
Judges will experience a two part training. They will first attend one of the available Zoom sessions hosted by the State Problem Captains. Then they will meet in-person with our Regional Problem Captains the Saturday prior to Tournament. During training, judges will be assigned a specific problem and role on a judging panel. These roles include but are not limited to staging judges, problem judges (objective), style judges (subjective), time keepers, score room, and spontaneous. Judges are expected to stay with their judging panel through the duration of their problem's performances.
PART 1 (VIRTUAL): January TBA
PART 2 (IN-PERSON): Saturday, February 5, 2022
WHERE: Wards Creek Elementary, 6555 SR 16, St. Augustine, FL 32092
The Judge/Official Registration below is for those judges who are NOT affiliated with a Team. If you are affiliated with a team then please send your information to the Coach or School Coordinator so they may receive credit for your registration.
